Important: The Kenilworth Round Table Fireworks Spectacular is organised by Kenilworth Round Table, a registered charity (number 1044955). All ticket purchases constitute charitable donations and are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of tickets for the Kenilworth Round Table Fireworks Spectacular (the "Event") held at Kenilworth Castle in partnership with English Heritage. The Event is organised by Kenilworth Round Table, a registered charity (number 1044955) (the "Organisers"). By purchasing, accepting, or using a ticket, you (the "Ticket Holder") agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. TICKET VALIDITY AND ADMISSION
1.1 Ticket Validity

Tickets are valid solely for the date, time, and venue specified thereon and are non-transferable unless prior written consent is obtained from the Organisers at least 48 hours before the Event.

1.2 Entry Requirements
  1. Late arrivals may be refused admission after the final entry time as posted on the official website.
  2. Re-entry to the Event area is strictly prohibited once a Ticket Holder has departed the premises.
  3. Children aged four (4) or below are admitted without charge.
  4. Children aged five (5) to seventeen (17) years inclusive require a valid ticket.
  5. Persons aged eighteen (18) years and over are classified as adults for ticketing purposes.
  6. Children under eighteen (18) years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
1.3 Digital Tickets

Ticket Holders are advised to download and preserve their digital tickets in advance of attendance, as mobile network coverage at the venue may be unreliable or unavailable.

2. REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
All ticket purchases constitute charitable donations to Kenilworth Round Table (registered charity number 1044955) and are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances. This condition applies to cancellation, postponement, modification of the Event, or any other reason. Under no circumstances will refunds ever be provided. This condition applies in accordance with charity fundraising regulations and is clearly communicated prior to purchase.
3. TRANSPORT AND ACCESS
3.1 Parking and Transport
  1. No general parking facilities are available on-site or in the immediate vicinity of the venue.
  2. Ticket Holders must arrange their own transportation to and from the Event.
  3. Access via Chase Lane is prohibited. Chase Lane shall be closed on the Event date, and the final approach is a private, unadopted road unsuitable for public vehicular access.
3.2 Disclaimer of Transport Liability

The Organisers accept no responsibility for any travel costs, losses, or expenses incurred by Ticket Holders in connection with attendance at the Event.

3.3 Disabled Parking

Limited disabled parking is available, including but not limited to Blue Badge holders, and must be pre-booked via krt.org.uk/contact. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.

4. EVENT MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION
4.1 Right to Modify or Cancel

The Organisers reserve the right, acting reasonably, to cancel, postpone, or modify the Event (in whole or in part) for any reason, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond their control.

4.2 No Compensation
  1. No refunds, exchanges, or compensation shall be provided in the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification.
  2. Price reductions implemented subsequent to purchase shall not entitle Ticket Holders to refunds of any price differential.
  3. The Organisers shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other ancillary costs incurred by Ticket Holders.
4.3 Cancellation Notices

The sole authoritative source for cancellation announcements is the website: krt.org.uk/fireworks. While the Organisers may endeavour to provide notification via electronic mail and social media platforms, Ticket Holders bear the responsibility to verify Event status before travelling. The Organisers disclaim all liability for costs incurred due to failure to check the official website.

5. SAFETY, CONDUCT, AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
5.1 Compliance with Instructions

Ticket Holders must comply with all venue instructions, site maps, and directions from authorised personnel. The decisions of marshals and event staff are final and binding.

5.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited within the Event area:

  1. Pushchairs and prams beyond the designated storage area. A marshal will be stationed at this area to assist with organisation and provide support, but not to provide security. All items remain left entirely at the owner's risk. The Organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to such items.
  2. Personal fireworks, sparklers, or pyrotechnic devices of any description.
  3. Pets or animals (except registered assistance dogs).
  4. Drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, or similar devices.
  5. Alcoholic beverages or illegal substances.
  6. Any items reasonably deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the Organisers.
5.3 Safety Warnings
  1. The terrain is uneven and may be slippery or muddy. Ticket Holders must wear suitable outdoor footwear with adequate grip. The Organisers may refuse entry to persons wearing footwear judged unsuitable for the conditions. The Organisers accept no liability for accidents including slips, trips, or falls arising from unsuitable footwear or terrain.
  2. The Event includes loud explosive sounds and bright flashing lights which may affect individuals with sensory sensitivities, epilepsy, or related conditions.
  3. The Event area contains a public right of way. While this route remains legally accessible, official entry is via designated gates only. Ticket Holders using alternative routes do so entirely at their own risk and may not be permitted to exit via Event facilities for safety reasons.
5.4 Removal from Premises

Ticket Holders may be refused entry or removed from the premises without refund for disruptive, unsafe, intoxicated, or otherwise inappropriate conduct, at the reasonable discretion of the Organisers.

6. DRONE RESTRICTIONS AND AVIATION SAFETY
6.1 Prohibition on Drone Operations
  1. The operation of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles over crowds is strictly prohibited under UK aviation law.
  2. Landowners do not permit drone launch or landing from private property, including English Heritage grounds or adjacent farmland, without explicit written authorisation.
  3. Ticket Holders observed operating drone devices may be required to cease operations immediately and may be refused entry if non-compliant.
7. MEDIA AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

By attending the Event, Ticket Holders acknowledge that they may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for the legitimate interests of the Organisers in promoting the Event. Such materials may be used for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without further consent or compensation. Ticket Holders who do not wish to appear in promotional material must notify the Organisers in writing in advance.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1 General Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ORGANISERS AND ENGLISH HERITAGE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE, OR INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, SAVE ONLY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY PROVEN NEGLIGENCE.
8.2 Assumption of Risk
  1. Attendance is entirely at the Ticket Holder's own risk. The Event involves fireworks, loud noises, uneven terrain, and outdoor conditions. Ticket Holders voluntarily assume all such risks.
  2. Emergency medical assistance will be available on-site through qualified personnel. The Organisers accept no responsibility for additional medical costs incurred.
  3. Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for the safety and supervision of children under their care.
  4. The Organisers accept no liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any nature.

Complaints must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of the Event conclusion through the above-specified channels exclusively.

10. DATA PROTECTION

Personal information is processed in accordance with UK GDPR requirements and English Heritage's privacy policy. The Organisers may access necessary ticket data strictly for operational purposes relating to Event management.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. SEVERABILITY

Should any provision of these Terms be deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
